This is looking like a great step up from the 2nd one, so here's hoping this will be the best Iron Man yet. And with Ben Kingsley as the villain (and his appearance as Mazer Rackham in Ender's Game later that same year), the man's been busy. 2013 will be epic!
*UPDATE - THIS JUST IN - my awesome CP Elissa Sussman just landed a sweet book deal for her novel Stray. And guys, having read her work, this is going to be huge. What do you get when you cross dystopia and fairytale? Elissa wrote the answer. Congratulations, my friend! Bella and Katniss are about to have some competition!

Are you excited for IM3? What other films are you looking forward to most next year? Does your popcorn cost more than your ticket?
I'm David, and remember to drink your fluids.
I've seen trailers for Anna Karenina and the Great Gatsby. I want to see them both. Wait... Am I on the wrong blog?
ReplyDeleteWait...Ender's Game comes out next year???? How did I not know this? Now that tops my list of films I'm looking forward to! :)
ReplyDeleteTrailers are OK, but I like to wait and hear some reviews before I get too worked up about it.
ReplyDeleteI love Iron Man. I am a little disappointed though that they did not hire an actual Chinese actor to play a Chinese character (Mandarin). I do realize Ben Kingsley is Asian, but that's not the same thing now is it?
ReplyDeleteEpic!! I can't wait! There are a ton of great looking movies coming out next year (City of Bones, Beautiful Creatures) that I am really looking forward to.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm in. The Husband and I love Iron Man. Looking forward to seeing this one...but not quite as much as I am anticipating The Wolverine.
ReplyDeleteFor a full two minutes and one second I think I stopped breathing. Oh my goodness. It looks like it's going to be AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteI'm also excited about seeing Django Unchained. But then again, I would see just about any film by Quentin Tarantino :D Oh, and of course, The Hobbit!!
Love Iron Man. This looks like a really great movie (not to mention a classic step along the hero arc!) So excited. And yeah, popcorn costs almost as much as the ticket.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, Iron Man could just stand around and I'd go see it! So very stoked. This one looks a bit bleak as well.
ReplyDeleteThe Mandarin... yesss... Only an appearance by Fin Fang Foom could make it better.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Elissa, and that Iron Man 3 movies looks awesome. Ominous, but awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhat??? "crazy good!"
ReplyDeleteI still have to watch IM 1 and 2! I'm so horrible... I really do want to see them though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any of the Iron Man movies. Should probably get around to that . . .
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Elissa!
ooh! This is exciting news! I shall have to share it with my brother immediately - thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, the new Iron Man seems unbelievably epic! And congrats to Elissa. It must be awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to Iron Man 3. It looks great!

Can't wait for IM3. I never buy popcorn anymore. Too fattening and expensive.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Iron Man! Can't wait to see IM3. I agree with Alex, I'd go see it if he just stood there :D
ReplyDeleteI don't know... I think his costume change looks like he wants to be Captain America when he grows up.
ReplyDeleteI'm worried that IRON MAN 3 will be burdened by an overabundance of villains. The Mandarin, The Extremis Virus, Coldblood, Firepower, and Radioactive Man.
