No. Not the spider.
Recluse, as a noun, is someone who lives by themselves or prefers a solitary life.
As an adjective, Recluse can mean to be withdrawn from society, such as a Reclusive person.
And yes, there is a species of spider known as Recluse.
Spiders . . . why did it have to be spiders?
