If you missed the reveal of WOVEN's map on brandonsanderson.com yesterday, be sure to check it out. Hurry, before it unravels!
For today's tour stop, we share a guest post about collaborative writing at Thinking Through Our Fingers! Learn about the process that Michael Jensen and I used to create Woven and our suggestions for every writer who may want to join forces with another writer.
The book birthday was excellent. Michael and I hit the town and stopped by a book store along the way. When I first started writing, it had been my dream to see something I wrote on the shelves of Barnes & Noble. I had hoped to take a picture of this, but something even better happened. Every copy they had was on reserve at the front desk. I also caught wind that stores across the country are selling out. This is good. This is very, very good. You guys rock!
And a bunch of copies came in for Michael and me to sign as well. Last night was very exciting. Boy 1 even got in on the fun!
This is the best debut release a new author could ask for. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI must say that I'm kind of surprised they're already rebooting Fantastic 4. Trailer looks cool though.
I see you're reading Steelheart. I just finished Firefight. *sigh*

ReplyDeleteI did collaborative writing for ten years. It was amazing the kind of stories we came up with. And it was a lot of fun. Pity we never care to save all that writing somewhere permanently.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear they're selling like hot cakes. Hope you enjoyed your signing session!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome assistant you have there!
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting time and busy schedule you have. Good to hear it's going well.
I hope this book kicks some serious ass.
