Today we're making room on the bridge to welcome science fiction author Shallee McArthur! Her first book just came out, called The Unhappening of Genesis Lee. Turn a concept that's as intricate and mysterious as a memory and change

ReplyDeleteRight away, I'm thinking like a writer. How do you write a main character who remembers LESS as the story goes on? Do you have her forget things that the reader already knows? Gonna have to read the book to find out how Shallee did it!

ReplyDeletePersonally I just can't take in the idea of memories on bracelets because the second I see that I think of how easily bracelets can be stolen without the added incentive of stealing someone's memories. After all, thieves go after valuable things.
