Congrats to Kelley Lynn and Jenny S. Morris for their collaboration!

What could be better?
For Charlie, a post-high school road trip isn't just a vacation, it's life changing. While her parents think she's helping a friend move, a chance at fame is the real reason to grab her best friends and drive to L.A. But when her super annoying, uber-responsible, younger sister, Lucy, has to tag along, it isn't quite the summer of fun she imagined.
Add in a detour to her grandparents' ranch in Texas, and between mucking the stalls, down-home cookin’, and drool worthy ranch hands, this could just turn into the best, and most complicated, summer of their lives.

As part of this "hop" I was asked to share a little something about a sibling. Seeing as I was the baby of the family, I can empathize with Lucy from that blurb. Sometimes it was a drag taking the "little bro" around. That's okay, though. It probably helped them stay out of trouble, and I was a fairly easy kid to get along with. I love my sibs. It's hard being away now that we're adults, but I still love them.

I'm David, and when it warms up, I'm up for a road trip too!
congrats to the ladies on the new cover!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Kelley and Jenny! Featured them today as well.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Kelley and Jenny.
ReplyDeleteI was the youngest of four cousins, but I don't have any siblings.
Thanks David!! You rock. I promise that sometime in the future I'll publish something that has to do with fantasy or sic-fi (or both). I'm kind of the baby too so I understand being the one they older siblings have to drag around. :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to write a different genre just for me. I'll ALWAYS give a shout-out to my friends. :)
DeleteCongrats to Jenny and Kelley!
ReplyDeleteI was the oldest and had to drag my younger brother around. You're right. The responsibility kept me out of trouble for sure.
So sweet! I have 4 older brothers and 3 younger siblings. It was difficult to fit in with my brothers and they used me more as a gopher, but hey, we could occasionally mesh ninja turtles and ponies into the same game. =)
ReplyDeleteI'm the youngest too, although there's only two of us. I'm lucky enough to live in the same town as my brother. And it's so nice that our kids can be friends too.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you do understand Lucy :) Thanks so much for sharing. And for breaking the Sci-fi/Fantasy theme ;)
ReplyDeleteNice cover. I was the youngest in my fam. My sister tortured me from my earliest memories until she moved out.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Kelly and Jenny. I'm seeing this cover all over the blogosphere.
ReplyDeleteRoad trips are great, and so are younger siblings (sometimes). Thanks for sharing this one with us, David. It looks really interesting, congrats to Kelly and Jenny. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat cover~ it sounds like a fun book! Congrats to Kelley and Jenny!
ReplyDeleteYou're the baby? That explains so much... haha j/k :)
ReplyDeleteI'm the baby too. It's a blessing and a curse :P
ReplyDeleteSo glad to finally see the cover! Happy Friday!
Fantastic cover! I've been seeing it pop up on so many blogs lately. I'm totally the baby of my family, too, haha...
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as an older sister, little brothers aren't so bad. :)
