Callie Leuck Has Found My Writing Nook!

Instead of a Tuesday Trope this week, I'd like you all to meet Callie, an awesomely outspoken blogger with a weekly series about writers and their writing space. I don't know why a raven is like a writing desk, but I know what my desk looks like. Now you can too.

She's guesting me today, so go and say hello!

In other news (and in honor of March), inkPageant has launched a new giveaway - a Three Chapter Critique, courtesy of Jolly Fish Press. This time, there is no post limit. Submit as much as you'd like. For an extra bonus entry, you can Like our Facebook page and/or follow our Twitter. Come join the parade, fellow writers!

(And if you'd like to blog about it, we won't stop you)

  1. My writing space is in the middle of the living room. Someday I will have my own office, lol! Heading over to like Inkpageant on Facebook :)

  2. My desk looks like scorched earth right now. Stacks and stacks of writing-related notes and crap, along with bills and other bits of miscellany that make my head hurt just looking at it. Methinks it's time for a little Spring cleaning (despite the fact that it hardly looks like Spring out--we got over a foot of snow yesterday O_o).

  3. Off to check out your guest post! My desk is not a desk...it's just my lap. :)

  5. I recently lost my Man Cave to the kids. Its pink now. So I have a laptop and that's good enough for my writing space.

  6. Looking forward to heading over to Callie's place here in a sec.

My writing space is pretty clean for now, although there's a pile of work growing in one corner of my desk.

It's one of those challenges of working from home - keeping the job stuff and the writing stuff separate.

  7. Now that I have a laptop (didn't have one before), my writing space is wherever I'm comfy. Be it the couch, the bed, the kitchen table... But I do have a nice big desk where my desktop is situated. It's pretty nice because I have my books piled up in one corner, and I have drawers to cram in my notes and notebooks.

  8. What a neat idea for a blog! My writing space looks like whatever I can perch my laptop on. Lately this has been a lot of cafe's (Panera back in the states). My idea spot would certainly be a lot more quiet.

  9. How fun. I wish Jolly Fish well. I know some authors whose books have been picked up by them. Exciting.

  10. Love your interview and your writing nook! Very fun. And I've been slacking on my inkpageant stuff. Blame it on my brain. It's missing. :( Gonna check it out tho. Love their monthly giveaways as well as everything else about it!:)

  11. I blame my messy work space on gremlins. It's covered in art supplies, university paperwork, electricals, books, music and writing gear. One of these days it's actually going to stay clean.

I've made changes to my writing space. I'm loving my new desk and chair.

  15. My writing space is practically everywhere. But I love sitting on the floor. I know...I'm weird. Just can't concentrate at a desk!!
