Nomination, Members, Writing Nook!

Update: I had to put Dragon's on hold for a different project last week. If all goes well, it'll be at 20K by the end of the week. Or more, if able. Also, I had the chance to visit an LTUE planning meaning. I'll tell ya - there's a lot of awesome going on. Can't wait for Feb 9th!

February is almost here! What have you accomplished this month? What's the plan next month?

    Congratulations on your nomination. Your title led me to believe there was some talk of the Nook here but I'm looking over your post and don't see anything. I have a Nook. I was just wondering if you were going to post some relevant info or something for the Barnes and Noble device.

    This month...I started querying and have gotten four requests out of six sent! Crazy, crazy response. I'm super excited. But don't want to be too excited. I'm expecting 'nos' but looking forward to any and all feedback they have for me.

    I will vote for sure.

    Working on wrapping up a third draft. Need to fine new beta readers that are MALE. I hate to discriminate, but my 2nd draft betas were all women. Which is not a bad thing at all, but my book does have pirates, ninjas, and samurais. Oh, and steampunk.

    I have an April 30 deadline to my publisher to meet.

    I did find Yoda. The force guided me.

    My plans for next month are complex. Outline last year's NaNoNovel and start the rewrite (yes, it was rubbish. But I have heaps of ideas!) Start a uni course, continue with homeschooling, try to keep up with music obligations (just about every day) and breathing. Yes, breathing is good.

    Sorry, not sure where Yoda is. I did see the bottle of Elmer's glue.

    I've never had a study or work area like that. I've always wrote in the oddest places: in my car, during lunch at work, sitting outside, at the kitchen table, sitting in bed. I do have a desk for my computer, thank goodness.
