Random Sauce: An Anticipated Journey!

Awesomeness. Enough said.

I just found out this trailer will be playing with The Adventures of Tintin. What a great weekend ahead!

I also just found out that Harrison Ford has signed on for Ender's Game! Abigail Breslin and Hailee Steinfeld have also signed on. Hopefully Ben Kingsley will, too.

And with Asa Butterfield leading, what a perfect cast!

Excited?

There's a couple of generous giveaways happening, too. One by Alex J. Cavanaugh and another by Julie Dao.

Go have a look'see!

I'm David, and that trailer was ... precious!

  1. Thanks for the mention of my giveaway! Stoked for The Hobbit, although it's still a year away. Add an incredible review of my next book to the mix, and I'm having an excellent day!
Not sure if I can cram three movies into this weekend, but I'm going to try.

  2. I really like Asa Butterfield. I think Harrison Ford needs to retire. I will reserve my judgement for his performance but it's like watching Michael Jordan wander back onto a court after he's retired five times.

  3. SO excited for The Hobbit. I'm a huge LOTR fan. :D And...I still have to read Ender's Game. Yes, I know. I need to get on that.

  5. When I first saw The Hobbit trailer, my heart palpitated. I was so excited. Gave me the same thrills and chills I got when I first found out about the LOTR being made into a movie.
And Enders Game? Just so much awesomeness in the works.

  8. I trailed right off my sketchy schedule to watch that trailer because I never could resist my hobbit habit! And I'm game for Ender's Game too! I'm full of wordplay today. Fantastic fantasy does that to me. Okay, SF too, if you're going to get technical.

  9. I need to read Ender's Game. I am SO excited for The Hobbit but feel a trailer coming out a WHOLE year in advance is just cruel. LOL. They probably did it so the die hard fans would leave them alone.

  11. I was so excited to see The Hobbit trailer! It looks awesome, and kept the same look as the LOTR movies. And I'm so pumped for Ender's Game. I'm super glad they got the actors they did. Of course, I'm curious to see how they'll condense the events in Ender's Game since the book starts when he's six.

I'm also looking forward to the movie of Ender's Game--I read the book recently, and I'm interested to find out how well they do it.

  15. I can't wait for The Hobbit. Though a whole year is a long time to wait. As for Ender's Game, hmmm, I liked the novel (and short story), but I'm not quite sure how it will translate to film.

Next week, we're going to see TinTin and the new Sherlock Holmes. Yay!
