Random Sauce: Who Likes Bad Jokes?

*Courtesy laugh*

But seriously, I'm shocked that I'm the only one in my immediate and extended families who actually likes the new Jane Eyre film. Nice Gothic tone, the lighting is excellent, and I want Mr. Fassbender ... to play one of my characters. I know I know. Who doesn't, right?

Yeah. They win screen couple of the year.

But seriously. Tomorrow is going to be ... interesting. 11/11/11 - the most evil day in the history of our lives, according to some ancient numerologists. To honor this unique, once-in-a-lifetime date, I will post something new that has never happened on this blog in the history of ... ever! For life! With maraschino cherries!

Okay. Maybe not cherries. No ice cream, either ...

Will it be evil? Come back tomorrow and find out!

I'm David, and we'll go see Puss in Boots instead.

  1. I haven't seen it yet, but I want to. And I thought 11/11 was a good day, a day for wishes, the only time that it is 11/11/11 and so it is a day for wishes.... or maybe that's just when the time says 11:11

oh well. I'll look forward to your post tomorrow!

  2. Umm...there's a new Jane Eyre movie? I'm waiting for 11/11/11 for two reasons: 1) the IMMORTALS movie, and 2) Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

  5. I plan on seeing Immortals. It looks good. That's the only thing I have scheduled. Other than to watch think it's cool that there are so many one's in unison.

  7. You know, I liked the film, except for the leading actress. I just didn't connect to the character like I did with the A&E miniseries (Jane Eyre is my wife's favorite book, so we've seen just about every adaptation there is).

Can't wait for the possibly-evil announcement tomorrow!
