Halloween Special: A Game of Truth and Lies with Crystal Collier, Undead Road Sale, and Updates!

Hey guys! There seems to be this reoccurring theme on the blog this year, something along the lines of "it's been a while!" and this is no exception.  Some have asked if I'm still here or if I've flown off the face of the galaxy. Maybe not those words exactly, but the answer is yes and no. But before I get to that, you may want to hear of this!

Awesome blogger Crystal Collier has invited me to her place today for a special Halloween giveaway post and a game of truth and lies. Head on over to check it out.

And since Halloween isn't Halloween without zombies, I am offering a chilling sale of The Undead Road on Amazon. The lowest price I can offer on ebook ($.99) and paper back ($10.93) is available from now through Halloween night. It's done really well this year, and it is just ONE review away from 50. That's a big deal. Want to help this book level up? Then share it with the zombie enthusiasts in your life.

Much Needed Update: as it turns out, going back to school is tough, but I'm glad to report that it's going well. Still have all A's in my courses. It's because of this (and other curve balls that is the ballpark of life), my writing life has been on hold.  A sabbatical, if you will (unless I'm using that word wrong?). My Zombie Summer: Part Two is sitting on the shelf growling at me like the never-ceasing undead, but there is good news on the Woven sequel front. Michael and I have complied our shares of the work and, who would have guessed, we have about 10,000 words left. I'm mighty excited about this! The goal is to have a working draft done by the year's end.

And that's not all. Our family will have a new addition this spring. Bottom line, that's going to make 2017 a fantastic year for us. :)

I must sign out for now, and I'm not sure when I will return to regular blogging (guys, I can't stress how seriously I miss you all), but I will be sure to pull out of hyperspace again before the year is over. In the meantime, what have you guys been up to? What have I missed?

I'm David, and there's a T-Rex on my shoulder ...

  2. Congrats on the new baby! Yay! I totally get the whole school thing. Man! When I went back a few years ago, my poor kids lost their mom. Stay sane and eat a ton of cheese, eh?

  4. Congrats on the new baby, your writing, school, and I'm guessing your job. Sometimes when we work full-time and have a family, blogging and writing have to be put on hold. I have had to do this at times too. Hope to see you around!
